Chinese company Korangi and Spanish company will work in Central Karachi, spokesperson of Sindh Chief Minister
Work will start in both districts in the second week of August
Chinese company is also setting up a cleaning plant in Karachi
In addition, it will also set up a 40-megawatt power plant to generate electricity from waste
SSWMB started work in South and East districts in 2016
Work started in West, Keamari and Malir districts in 2017
Work will start in Central and Korangi districts from today
Thus, the cleaning work of the entire Karachi will be outsourced, MD SSWMB Zubair Channa
The agreement to start the work was signed by SSWMB MD Zubair Channa and CEO Supervisor Jamie Martin
Now the entire city Solid waste will be collected and dumped from municipal areas, Sindh Chief Minister
Monitoring of cleanliness work from Karachi city is the responsibility of SSWMB, Syed Murad Ali Shah
